Hello, I’m Amarnath.

Backend to cloud. Device to dashboard.

I’m a senior software engineer in Hyderabad with 9+ years across backend and cloud delivery, API integration, IoT systems, automation, and AI-enabled engineering.

  • 9+ years building software
  • HYD Hyderabad, India
  • Security-aware foundations
Now

At Dhan AI, I lead Microsoft Dynamics 365 Contact Center and Copilot Studio delivery.

01 What I do

A toolbox, not a scorecard.

These are the areas where I’ve done real work. The useful part is being able to connect them when a problem refuses to stay in one lane.

01

Backend & API systems

Application backends, integrations, and operational tooling in Go, PHP/Laravel, and Python - with Vue/Nuxt and Flutter when the product needs an interface.

  • Go
  • Laravel
  • Python
  • REST APIs
  • SQL
  • Realtime

02

Cloud delivery & operations

Hands-on delivery across AWS, Azure, GCP, and Cloudflare, with attention to observability, migration risk, cost, and production cutovers.

  • AWS
  • Azure
  • GCP
  • Cloudflare
  • Docker
  • Observability

03

Connected systems & IoT

Working across device firmware, constrained networks, ingress services, messaging, and user-facing apps instead of treating hardware and cloud as separate problems.

  • ESP32
  • STM32
  • MQTT
  • NB-IoT
  • LoRaWAN
  • Wirepas

04

AI-enabled delivery

Model-assisted planning, implementation, and review while keeping architecture, tests, security boundaries, and final decisions human-owned.

  • Copilot Studio
  • AI chat
  • Specifications
  • Tests
  • Review

02 Experience

Where the work got real.

Production cutovers, constrained networks, cloud integrations, and the operational details that appear after the architecture diagram is finished.

Dhan AI

Software Engineer

Current
  • Led the delivery team implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Contact Center, followed by Copilot Studio bots spanning AI-assisted experiences and traditional IVR flows.
  • Architected and executed a phased Avaya-to-Dynamics migration for a U.S. ISP, from pilot and operational analysis through line-of-business cutovers, final cutover, and hypercare.
  • Owned end-to-end telephony integration across carrier routing, a client-hosted SBC, Azure Communication Services, and Dynamics; worked directly with Microsoft FastTrack and product teams to resolve platform issues.
  • Built operational visibility with Power BI, SQL, Azure Application Insights, and Python Azure Functions when standard reporting could not provide the required queue insight.

ELLENEX

Software Specialist

  • Extended and operated a Go UDP ingress service on AWS EC2 for battery-powered NB-IoT devices, keeping synchronous work focused on authentication, receipt, and prompt acknowledgement.
  • Integrated devices and cloud systems across MQTT, Cumulocity, Wirepas, and LoRaWAN, and prototyped an ECS/Fargate migration for the EC2 workload.
  • Designed an ESP8266/web one-connect production workflow for order-specific firmware, configuration, serial assignment, and preliminary QA; also implemented the variant-rich ellenex.shop storefront.

Srireina Technologies

Senior Consultant

Built a deployment platform across Google Cloud, AWS, and Cloudflare, including Cloudflare Tunnels and practical cloud-cost controls.

Srireina Technologies

Technical Lead

Built Laravel applications on Google Compute Engine and deployed a Python/Flask application on Cloud Run; also worked with AWS Rekognition and delivered robotics training.

Wipro

Project Engineer

Automated ServiceNow reporting through Excel and a Laravel API integration, and built an Oracle SQL skills assessment portal.

D4DEVS IT Solutions

Freelance Programmer

Contributed web development to worldblood.org.

03 On my workbench

Things I build when I’m curious.

Independent builds are where I follow a system all the way through—from the awkward physical or security boundary to the interface someone actually uses.

Independent prototype · Device to cloudBUILD / 01

M74 Labs IoT & energy monitoring

An end-to-end energy-monitoring system spanning an ESP32 and ADE9153A metering IC, ESP-IDF/C firmware, MQTT, a Laravel API with EMQX webhooks, and a Flutter control and analytics client.

  • Commands, calibration, telemetry, and aggregation
  • Energy, waveform, and cycle analysis
  • Substantial Pest feature-test coverage
  1. Sensing
  2. Firmware
  3. MQTT
  4. API
  5. Flutter
Independent build · Used within familyBUILD / 02

Tapala secure messaging

A Laravel and Flutter messaging system built with established cryptographic libraries and protocol patterns, passkeys, device and key APIs, encrypted messaging and media flows, local-first storage, and realtime delivery.

  • WebAuthn and passkey authentication
  • Vodozemac-based encrypted sessions
  • Pest tests and continuous integration
  1. Passkeys
  2. Device keys
  3. Encrypted flows
  4. Local first

04 A bit more

The thread through my work.

I’m most useful where boundaries are blurry: device and cloud, vendor platform and customer workflow, implementation and production handover.

Across roles, I’ve moved from requirements to architecture, troubleshooting, cutover, and the operational views people need after launch. I like finding the fragile or repetitive part of a process and making it more reliable.

A Master of Cyber Security adds a security-aware foundation to my software work. Outside professional delivery, I build connected-device and secure-application prototypes and write about the technical problems I learn from.
